Supplying Artwork

With the ever changing world of computer platforms and software upgrades we find that the best form of artwork is a hi-res PDF file, commonly known as a ‘print ready’ PDF file.

Basic PDF Guidelines - All artwork should be done to size with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Any fonts used should be either converted to outline or embedded within the PDF file. Black text and blocks on colour backgrounds should be set to overprint.

Full Colour - All colours used within the file must be CMYK process colours, files that are sent to us using RGB, Pantone, or spot colours will be automatically converted to CMYK which may cause some changes to your colours. Any files linked to your artwork should be at least 300dpi and must also be CMYK e.g. TIFFs, EPSs.

Spot Colour - Files must use Pantone Spot colour references.

Single Colour - Supplied as Black/Greyscale artwork with notification of what Pantone Spot colour you would like it printing in.

Cutting Forme/Guidelines - Any cutting forme or guidelines must be set as a Named Spot Colour and set as overprint.

A printed copy from your system sent to us via the post would also be helpful for us to check against.

If our design team have to adjust your file in any way there may be an additional artwork charge.
